What will the weather be like ?

We often get asked about the weather here at Lagoon Watersports especially the wind! I decided to put together this list of useful weather links that we use when trying to find when and how windy it will be.

Forecasts And Real Time Weather

Shorehambeachweather.co.uk

This is a really useful live weather station over at Shoreham, anything averaging over 15 knots on this means it will be planing weather on the sea.

Chimet.co.uk

Another Live weather station it is up on the bar at Hayling Island and because its further West it can often be a sign of potential wind sweeping across the country.

Boards.co.uk

Check out the forum looking ahead thread, loads of super keen windsurfers write weather forecast updates on their all the time - they usually get it right and most of them windsurf in Hove

Our members page which is also linked to our face book page check it out for live updates from us!

www.tiger24.com/index.php/cameras/hove

A birds eye view of the sea from the top of the building - super useful!

www.xcweather.co.uk

Super simple to use and my personal favourite usually pretty accurate

www.windguru.cz/int/index.php?sc=47915

Specialised windsurf/kitesuf site with thousands of spots all over the world! scroll down for more accurate hour by hour info!

www.magicseaweed.com

More surfy but usually super accurate for the swell so good for spotting the big stunt days!
